★ G E A R ★ - PETER HONG PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR
People are always curious about what gear I use, lighting equipment, etc etc. So here is a list of cameras, lighting, modifiers, bags, etc that I use.
NOTE: The list will be updated when I get new equipment, etc.
★ LENSES ★
I'm an all prime user. 24, 35, 50, 85, 135.
35, 50 and 85 are my favourite. 24 is reserved for landscapes and the 135 for concert, sports and candids from a distance.
★ CAMERAS ★
First up is my workhorse camera, the Nikon D700. This is what I use on a day to day basis. I love the speed and ergonomics of this beast.
This is my everyday camera. The D700 even without battery grip is super heavy. Horrible if I am just walking around taking a few photos through out the day. This is lighter and packs amazing quality!
This is what I consider as the film version of my D700. It has I need but without the 'digital' part. A pleasure to use, the Nikon F-801s.
When I wanna take things slower, I use the Nikon FE for that cool vintage feel of cranking the film lever.
Given to me by my Grandfather, I have yet to use it. The stunning, Konica Autoreflex TC.
Nothing beats some cool polaroid action from my Fujifilm Instax Mini 55.
This Recesky TLR camera was a fun project. Makes an awesome gift to photography lovers! :)
★ LIGHTING ★
I use Nikon's SB900 and SB600 for my lighting. I like to pack light.
I use the Pocket Wizard Flex-TT5, Mini-TT1 and the AC3 controller for wireless triggering.
★ MODIFIERS ★
Stay tuned...
★ BAGS / CASES ★
